Malaysian Students' Council of Australia - MASCA ACT

Our Mission

The Malaysian Students Council of Australia (MASCA) aims to:

  • represent and serve the interests and welfare of the Malaysian student community in Australia
  • facilitate the interaction and unification of various Malaysian student bodies and their members in Australia

Each state has a local MASCA chapter with its own individual committees. These separate committees congregate annually at the MASCA National Games and Conference to elect representatives who form the committee for the national body of MASCA.

The MASCA ACT chapter comprises of students from:

  • Malaysian Students' Organisation (Australian National University)
  • Malaysian Students' Association (University of Canberra)
  • Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA)
  • Malay Students' Association of Canberra

As part of our efforts to achieve MASCA's objectives, we organise several events throughout the year. These events facilitate interaction between all Malaysian students studying in the ACT. This year, look out for:

  • career fairs
  • the MASCA ACT Sports Carnival
  • the annual MASCA National Conference and Games
  • "Malam Gemilang" - a Merdeka celebration

Keep an eye on the website for updates on these events!
